Continuing Education - Suicide Prevention

In the U.S., a suicide occurs approximately every 11 minutes, underscoring the urgent need for preparedness in addressing this critical issue. This training will equip you with the skills to identify and assess suicidal risks, as well as provide practical steps for offering immediate support. We invite all interested congregants to join us for this essential and informative Continuing Education event.

We are pleased to welcome our guest speaker, Laura Newby, a Mental Health Counselor (LP) with Redeemer Counseling Services. Laura holds a master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Master’s in Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia.
