Columbarium Update

What looks like merely a lovely garden area on the Post Road side of the chapel is actually RPC's Columbarium. Its walls are the final resting place for hundreds of the “saints of Rye Presbyterian.” A walk through its pathways reading the names is a tour of our church history.

As mentioned a year ago, thanks to a very generous gift, notable improvements are in the works for this important part of our church. Walkways to and throughout the Columbarium have been reset and widened. The stone platform around the cross has been rebuilt. Trees have been pruned or removed, and once the daffodils have their spring show, the beds will be redone, new trees planted, and the sprinkler system replaced.
