Be sure to come to worship (and stay for the picnic afterward) on June 9, as the Chancel Choir and an instrumental ensemble (the usual Jazz Sunday musicians) offer a morning of music from the Gospel tradition. Highlights will be an arrangement of Glenn Burleigh’s “Order My Steps” and Paul Halley’s “The Rain Is Over and Gone” (a raise-the-roof setting of the composer’s own words and words from the Song of Solomon).
