Children and Youth Choir News

Calling all Children Grades 1-6 for Children’s Choir!

The Children’s Choir sings in church services on a monthly basis, leads worship music from the chancel area during special holiday services, sings with the adult choir periodically, and performs in the annual Christmas Pageant. Rehearsals focus on the development of singing and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.  Older children are given the opportunity to develop leadership skills by mentoring the younger members of the choir, and many friendships are made across age groups as the children learn what it’s like to lead worship and serve the church through the art of singing.

The group rehearses weekly in the choir room on Thursdays from 3:45-4:30 p.m.  New members are accepted throughout the year. If you have any questions or would like to become involved, contact Lisa Rawson, Director of Choirs for Children and Youth, by clicking  .
